Ever seen a cake so ambitious it couldn’t even fit in the truck?
Here’s one for the books:
To celebrate a major anniversary, our global airline’s catering team decided to create a cake in the shape of one of our planes. With vague instructions and relentless “bigger please” requests, our chefs went overboard—literally. The cake grew so massive it wouldn’t fit the delivery truck! In a burst of creative problem-solving, the team split it into three pieces just to get it to HQ, though it barely resembled a plane by the time it arrived.
When the Chief of Catering saw this disaster, he skipped the celebration, anticipating chaos. And sure enough, when the CEO finally cut the cake, it crumbled into a mess—and the head chef was called into the office.
Moral of the story? Ambition is great, but without proper planning, design, and resource management, even the grandest ideas can crumble. Sometimes, asking for “more” isn’t always better.
